Saturday is Reptile and Amphibian Day at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences! The theme this year is crocodilians. One of my other projects is selling Molly’s Turtle Soap to fundraise for NC conservation organizations, and for the third year in a row I will have my own table at R/A day with all proceeds from my sales going to the museum! I will be selling all kinds of turtle shaped soaps along with my signature tub soak. Be sure to stop by the museum if you’re in Raleigh this Saturday and say hi!
I also have some baking ahead of me. I’m the co-president of the Saint Mary’s School Environmental Club and we’ll be selling cookies and brownies at our dance off Sunday night. We’re raising money to retrofit school drinking fountains so that re-usable water bottles will fit in the fountains.
Unfortunately, the water was unbelievably cold this past weekend and I could not dive. I have another dive scheduled in April and hopefully it will be a little bit warmer.
My doctor prescribed anti-typhoid pills to take before Costa Rica, there are only four and I had the third tonight. I can’t wait to share my photos and experience with you!
I saw a preview today for this summer’s STEM Leadership camp – I will share this soon!
