My things have been quiet on my end, though that doesn’t mean nothing is happening behind the scenes. It’s hard to believe that it’s been a year since this Climb365 journey started. While I haven’t ended up with a complete platform yet, it’s underway and in the making. I’m grateful to have had an impetus that pushed me into doing something I wasn’t sure was a good idea or not – to teach other women what I’ve learned along the way about creating your own job and following your own passion.
Of course, not everything goes as smoothly as you plan. While I love working from home while being home with my son, no matter how much I want to do, there’s a cap on what I’m capable of in any given time period. Because it is just me on my own and not a team of coworkers and employees, my hours are finite and limited. What’s surprised me most along this journey is that I’m ok with that – not everything will be done when you want it to be, that doesn’t mean you have to give up. So it’s taking longer than I thought to work everything out, but it’s still happening and I’m still following my passions.
If you have something that drives you, motivates you, or fulfills you, I encourage you to find a way to make it happen. Even if it’s not easy. Even if it’s really hard. But in the end, doing what you’re passionate about and spending time with the people that matter the most in your life is what it’s really about.
